Invest in Patio Repair Delray Beach

There’s no better place to invest in a beautiful and relaxing patio area other than sunny, tropical Delray Beach, FL.

A majority of the people who have ever visited Florida have done so in order to bask in the warm, tropical sunshine that it has to offer. South Florida in particular is one of the most beautiful places in the country with year-round average temperatures in the eighties.  Delray Beach, FL is wonderfully located at the very top of the most tropical portion of the Sunshine State and its’ residents are privy to some of the best weather the state has to offer. There is absolutely no better place in the country to have a relaxing and safe patio area to enjoy the year-round weather.

When is it Time For Patio Repair Delray Beach Has to Offer?

Many Delray Beach residents probably find themselves becoming accustomed to the wonderful weather in South Florida. It’s easy to take 85 degrees and sunny for granted when it happens every day. Undeniably, this can lead to homeowners neglecting their backyards and in need of patio repair Delray Beach has to offer to upgrade or restore the space.
One of the most common reasons that homeowners find themselves seeking the service of a patio repair company in Delray Beach is chips and cracks in their concrete or masonry that their flooring is made of. The sun, salt, wind and rain tend to wear away at concrete, bricks and stone over time, causing them to become unsafe and unsightly with cracks and chips. Repairing cracks in concrete or replacing damaged bricks or stones is a simple job for most patio repair Delray Beach companies and will not cost a large amount of money to have done.

Benefits of an Upgraded Patio

By investing minimally in small repairs such as cracks and chips in the flooring of their patio, Delray Beach homeowners can reap the benefits of a safe and beautiful backyard space. Neighborhood gatherings, backyard barbeques and pool days with the kids will be much more frequent, safe and fun. In addition, patio repair and upgrade can increase the value of a Delray Beach home tremendously and add appeal for potential homebuyers if you ever put your home on the market.

There is no doubt that the weather is right in South Florida to maximize the potential of any patio in the area. Make sure your patio is as safe, relaxing and beautiful as possible with patio repair Delray Beach has to offer so you can get the most enjoyment possible from the tropical paradise that we call home.

Perks of Patio Repair Delray Beach

Investing in a patio area makeover offers Delray Beach homeowners many benefits.

Delray Beach Residents Ignore Tropical Climate

Living in Delray Beach, we tend to get spoiled by the constant sunshine and 80 degree weather. As most of us who live in Delray Beach are transplants and come from other (colder) places originally, we tend to soak up the sun when we first move to South Florida and then kind of grow use to it. At this point, we neglect the beautiful weather and some people tend to let their patio areas deteriorate, because they never get used. This is not OK! The sunshine and beautiful, year-round weather is most likely one of the major reasons you made the move to Delray Beach.

A Call To Action

This is a call to action to all of you Delray Beach homeowners who (like me) may not sit outside and simply enjoy the tropical climate that we live in often enough. The first step is to invest in patio repair Delray Beach has to offer. There are many ways to begin the process of soaking up more sunshine.

1.       Plan a Beach Day

When is the last time you and your loved ones enjoyed a day at the Atlantic Ocean? Plan a trip. Have a picnic. Go outside! You won’t regret it.

2.       Invest in Patio Repair Delray Beach Has to Offer

The nicer and more relaxing your patio area is, the more likely you are to go outside and enjoy the sunshine more frequently. You won’t think twice about inviting friends and family over for a backyard barbeque or pool day after the renovation is complete!

3.       Go To The Everglades

The Florida Everglades are one of the most neglected natural treasures in the Southeast part of the United States. Take a drive out to the everglades and enjoy some alligator-watching or take an air boat ride.

4.       Ride Your Bike

A great way to get outside more often and enjoy the wonderful weather we live in as Delray Beach residents is to ride your bike more often. Enjoy the weather and get fit at the same time! It’s a win-win.

5.       Call Your Family Members Who Live Up North

Probably the best way to rejuvenate your appreciation for the South Florida weather is to call a family member or friend who lives anywhere but South Florida. They always ask “how’s the weather?” and the answer is always “Perfect!” Soak it up.

A Pavement Replacement Delray Beach Nightmare

Recently, an unknown electrical wire in the ground of my front yard turned my pavement replacement project into an absolute nightmare.

Pavement Replacement Was Needed to Fix My Sidewalk

It was time to fix my sidewalk. Like many other Delray Beach homeowners, I had thought about addressing the project for quite some time before deciding to take care of it. So I began the process. I did my research. I talked to neighbors, close friends and family members in the area about pavement companies they had experience with in Delray Beach and found a wonderful contractor to do the job. The company sent a guy out to do the estimate and left me with a written quote and a start date for them to come in and fix my sidewalk. I had a really good feeling about the project.

The Job Begins

A couple of weeks later, after I had talked everything through with my wife, the company came in to start the project. Everything went well for the first couple of days as they began demolishing and removing my old, chipped and stained sidewalk. On the third day, the nightmare began.

The foreman of the pavement replacement Delray Beach team I had chosen came to my front door early on the third morning that they had been there and had a pretty bad look on his face. He calmly explained to me that they ran into something very unusual in South Florida: an underground wire. At this point, they had to begin figuring out where the wire came from and if it carried a charge. Thankfully, it did not. They began removing it. This required ripping up nearly half of my lawn! I allowed them to do so.

It had nothing to do with the company I chose to do the work. This unknown wire, but it did have something to do with them having to do all sorts of extra work that I ended up paying for. They were kind about it and cut me a break on their extra labor, because they felt bad. Fortunately, the wire was removed safely and my sidewalk got finished. It looks really great. I’m happy with the work that the company did. I just wish that weird wire weren’t there! We still have no idea why it was there or where it came from. All the pavement guys tell me the experience was a first for them. Just my luck!

Patio Repair Transforms Delray Beach Poolside

I recently researched patio repair Delray Beach has to offer in order to find a top-notch company to come in and upgrade my poolside area. I was pleasantly surprised with the results!

South Florida Pools Are Underrated

As a lifelong South Florida resident, I am always amazed at how many homeowners I know who have pools, but simply do not use them. Ever. It’s terrible! We live in the nicest and most tropical environment that the good, ole U. S. of A. has to offer, and yet nobody uses their pools on a regular basis. I’ve thought about this for some time, and I can’t deny that I was part of the anti-pool using posse.

I own a home in Delray Beach that has a fantastic in-ground pool in the backyard. I’ve owned my home for over 20 years and the pool has always been there. In the beginning, my family and I used the pool quite a bit; however, as the years passed, it became neglected. This is in part of a few natural occurrences, such as the kids getting older and my wife and I falling out of shape gradually, of course, but I began to hate the fact that the pool never got used! I recently decided to give myself and my family some benefit to using the patio and poolside more often.

Time for an Upgrade

As I said earlier, I’ve had a pool in the backyard patio area of my home for over 20 years. Until I recently sought out patio repair Delray Beach has to offer, my poolside had never been renovated or remodeled. It was looking pretty 90’s, if you know what I mean. My poolside patio area was most definitely in need of a major makeover.

The company that I chose to do the work to my patio was fantastic. They offered me every option in the world and worked with my Wife and I step-by-step in our lengthy decision-making process. We chose to go with some very affordable masonry work for the patio area. The results are absolutely amazing. The company even applied a coat of grip-enhancing sealer to the stonework so that my family and our guests are always safe from slip and fall accidents around the often-wet poolside.

To anyone who owns a home and has a pool, but does not use it, I implore you to look into patio repair Delray Beach has to offer to get your poolside an upgrade and enjoy the South Florida weather once again!

Why You Must Get Delray Beach Driveway Repair From an Insured Company

A first-hand horror story about the disaster that can result when you get Delray Beach driveway repair from an unreliable and uninsured contractor.
I was considering selling my home in Delray Beach a few years ago, so I decided to do some maintenance and get some upgrades done to my home to potentially increase its’ selling price. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on the repairs and upgrades, because I didn’t have much to spend. I did a few things on my own through the instruction of YouTube videos and DIY website. I was pleased with what I accomplished and felt confident that I would reap the fruits of my labor with the increased value of my home. Then I made the terrible decision of getting my driveway repaired.
I’m not saying that driveway repair is a bad idea. It’s not. In fact, driveways (I have found out) are a very important feature of any home, because they are the first thing that people see and first impressions are critical to selling your home. By now, you know that I did not have a huge budget for my home upgrades. Accordingly, I did some research and chose a Delray Beach driveway repair company that I thought would do a good job, because their bid was the lowest for the job.
The company (who will remain unnamed for legal reasons) came in and began the job early on a Wednesday morning. Immediately, I knew that something wasn’t right. The employees of the company showed up smelling like alcohol and poorly groomed. Ok, so I thought, “they are in construction, no reason to worry,” but I should have worried. They started the job and to my disappointment, damaged my lawn and landscaping with their second-hand equipment by the end of the first day. On the second day, they began ripping up my concrete driveway, leaving a bigger mess every step of the way. By week’s end, they had most of the old driveway ripped apart.
When Monday rolled around, no one showed up. Not one representative from the company called me to let me know that they weren’t coming and my phone calls were met with recording after recording. This was a month ago. Since then, I’ve had my driveway done by a reliable company, but I still have not heard back from the second-hand, uninsured company who started the job. Why they left and never came back I will never understand, but after doing some research, my lawyer found that the original company had no insurance, so I was out the money that I had already paid them.
It’s really scary to find out the hard way that choosing the wrong contractor to do work on your home (personally, my largest investment) can go so poorly and cost so much. Thankfully, I found a first class company who was able to repair my driveway professionally and affordably, but the money I lost on the uninsured company really hurt me. Make sure you find a reliable company to do home repairs to your home in South Florida.

Patio Repair Delray Beach Has to Offer Can Transform Your Poolside into Paradise

There’s no better place to have a pool at your home than South Florida. Investing in patio repair Delray Beach has to offer can make your poolside area truly exceptional!
Fun in the Sun
South Florida boasts an average year-round temperature of nearly 82 degrees. The average in the winter can drop down to a frigid 75 degree with the summer remaining around 89 degrees most of the time. In addition to high annual temperature, South Florida is also tropical which makes it very humid making the air and heat feel much hotter. Do you want a pool yet? Chances are pretty high that if you own a home in South Florida, you already have one. There are more backyard pools in South Florida than in any other area of the country!
There’s a Pool in Your Backyard! Remember?
Too often as South Floridians, we can forget about the wonderful weather that we are blessed with year-round and completely neglect our backyard pools; leaving them to sit in the hot sun and frequent rains with no maintenance. Over time, this lack of use will certainly leave your poolside needing some TLC. When it’s time for patio repair, the good news is, the options are endless. There are more than a handful of cost effective investments that you can make to bring your patio area back to life and turn your poolside into a paradise.
Consider these five tips for turning your poolside area into your own personal oasis:
1.       Plants: Nothing says cabana or oasis more than some nice tropical plants by your poolside. Go to your local nursery or even Home Depot to find a great selection of tropical plants that can enhance your poolside experience for a relatively low cost.
2.       Masonry Work: Replacing warn down pavement or concrete around your pool with nice brick, rock or stone will not only make your poolside area more peaceful, but it will increase the value of your home tremendously as well. Many professional patio repair companies offer decorative concrete these days that can give you the look of expensive rock for a reasonable price.
3.       Patio Furniture: Acquiring some new patio furniture can go a long way in making your poolside area more relaxing and comfortable. Seriously, when is the last time you bought new patio furniture? Go on! It’ll be fun.
4.       Fountains: For a reasonable price, you can invest in a floating fountain that sits in the middle of your pool and invites you in all the time. The sound of running water is peaceful and serene. Some floating fountains even light up at night to add extra ambiance.
5.       Pool Cleaning Robots: Have you seen them? They never stop working! Having a pool cleaning robot will ensure that your pool stays clean and pristine at all times. Your poolside area will be ready for you whenever you’d like to enjoy it.
Take advantage of your patio area. Never forget that we live in a tropical paradise and while most people are scraping ice off of their windows every morning for 4-6 months straight, we can step outside our backdoor and take a swim.

Upgrades That Make a Difference: Driveway Repair Delray Beach

http://actionconcretefl.com/

For homeowners in South Florida considering selling their homes and wanting to increase its’ value to the max beforehand; consider some of these upgrades that will truly make a difference in how much you get for your most important asset.

I have lived in the South Florida area for over two decades. I've managed to do alright for myself and have a few homes; two in Fort Lauderdale and one in Delray Beach. I recently decided to sell all three homes and downsize to a single home simply because owning property has become too much of a hassle. In doing so, I got all three appraised and did not like the estimated value that I was given. I decided to do some research on relatively minimal investments and upgrades I could do to my homes in order to increase their value before sale. Here’s what I found.

The home that I raised the value of the most was the one up in Delray. My first step was addressing the curb appeal of the house. South Florida is a beautiful place with gorgeous homes; however, a lot of houses look exactly the same. I wanted my home to stand out from the rest in my neighborhood, so I contacted a top notch driveway repair Delray Beach team to come in and completely overhaul my driveway. The driveway turned out wonderful. I couldn't have asked for more. The investment was relatively small compared to the increased value that was added to my home because of it. Remember, sometimes you have to spend a little bit of money in order to make even more.

The two homes down in Fort Lauderdale probably could have benefited from that same driveway repair Delray Beach team, but I decided to go a different route with them. I addressed the backyard of both homes instead of the front. For the home with no pool, I simply had a patio repair company come in and lay new decorative concrete in the patio area and build out a fantastic brick fountain structure that is absolutely breathtaking. For the home with a pool, I had the poolside masonry work freshly stained to a color that complimented the color of the home. I was happy to find that the stain also included a sealant, which is a good selling point. Both homes increased in value by nearly 10 percent with, again, minimal investment.

Small-Cost Repairs and Upgrades Will Make You Money

I think the most important thing that I learned about selling a home in South Florida nowadays is that homebuyers want something different. Focus on the curb appeal of your home and address the patio area. Of course, the inside is important as well, but in our tropical climate; who wants to sit inside? Focus on the details and invest minimally in your home to see a larger return on your most important investment.
